DESC values the mental health and wellbeing of every member of its community.
Our policies reflect the core values of respect and support for each other in every aspect of life. Our aim is that everyone in our community works together to feel safe and secure and is respectful of each other’s strengths and differences. Every individual is empowered to thrive within their working environment and we are passionate about embedding an ethos of positive Mental Health and Wellbeing at DESC.
At DESC, our Mental Health Team aims to:
- Work together as a staff team, to support the provision of Mental Health Services for learners, parents, carers and staff
- Raise awareness of the importance of positive Mental Health and Wellbeing for all in the DESC community
- Ensure an ethos of supporting positive Mental Health and Wellbeing is embedded throughout DESC.
Part of the team’s role is to provide up to date signposting.
